Sundays at Scarboro – September 6, 2020

Worship Start Time: 10:30am - Virtual Service
Theme: Pride Sunday

This week we celebrate Pride, affirming and (virtually) embracing the LGBTQ2SIA+ community! If you want to check out the Citywide Pride Service, broadcasting live from Affirming Connections on Facebook and YouTube at 10am, we would be happy to provide you with a link to view the Scarboro service at a later time.

To access the Virtual Worship Service, on Sunday, click here.

Alternatively, you can participate via telephone at 587-328-1099 & enter Meeting ID: 826 9983 3851# - if you are asked for a participant ID, just press # to be connected.

To avoid disruptions to our service & maintain our standard of care, participants' video and audio will be disabled during the service. You are encouraged to use the "Speaker View" rather than the "Gallery View" during the service.  Catch up and see your church family via video during our regular coffee time.

This resource may be helpful  if you are struggling to join us online. You can also reach out to [email protected] for assistance.

Decisions about the use of our physical building will continue to be made with the health and safety of our church family, visitors, tenants and wider community as our top priority. Updates about access to our building from our "Return to Church Team" are available here.

Find the latest updates about access to our building here. Currently we feel that the worship service we are able to provide online is more accessible, familiar and meaningful than the alternatives available at this time.

This year's Fruits of the Spirit celebration contiunes beyond just one weekend! Take a look at our at-home art workshops. We will share our creations in person when we are together again.

Sunday at Scarboro – Oct 28, 2018

Worship Start Time: 10:30am
Theme: 10 Years of Affirming Ministry!

Come to Scarboro as we worship together every Sunday at 10:30am. We will have the coffee on at 10, so come early and catch up with your community. There will be more time for coffee, tea and conversation after the service in the Memorial Hall - and this week: CAKE!

We are proud to celebrate 10 years of inviting, welcoming and affirming all people, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity, into full participation in, and leadership of, the congregation of Scarboro United Church. This Sunday we are joined by Calgary Men's Chorus and BarberEllas to help us celebrate with their musical gifts, and the message will be delivered by guest speaker, Cindy Christie-Brooks. Come and join the celebration!

Whomever you love, however you identify, however you express yourself - you are WELCOME here.
