Music & Art Mondays

We are blessed to have so many incredibly creative and talented folks in our community. While we are taking time apart, take a moment to share a picture of something creative that you are working on - a drawing, paper art, crochet, quilting, woodworking, composition, an artful pie, or any project that allows you a creative outlet. Let's share a little beauty here and spread a little joy.

Take Care Tuesdays

On Tuesdays let's take a moment to share ways that we can help our community during the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • Share links to organisations that are seeking volunteers, like Canadian Blood Services
    or the Calgary Food Bank
  • Let us know how you have found ways to be a good steward, of the community, of the environment, of creatures large and small
  • Consider an extra contribution to the church, in the form of an extra Lent/Easter offering that is over and above your usual amounts. This extra contribution is vital to help with our many ministry areas. It recognizes the time of year and will help the church through this pandemic. If you are able to contribute, please make an e-transfer to [email protected] or mail in a cheque marked ‘Special Easter Offering'

Quali-tea Wednesday

Meet us online on Wednesday mornings! During this time apart, we are all missing our usual social gatherings, so brew a cup of tea (or coffee) and join us between 10:45-11:45am for some much needed "quali-tea" time with Rev. Erin. Just click on here and follow the prompts to join the zoom meeting. You can use the camera, speakers & mic on your smart cell phone, tablet, or computer, or you can call in to 587-328-1099 for the audio - Meeting ID 218-501-378

Thoughtful Thursday

Every Thursday, we will post the scripture passage for this Sunday's worship service. Take a moment to look it up and share your thoughts - what do our sacred words mean in this time of trouble? What comfort do you find in them?

The scriptures for March 29 are Ezekiel 37:1-14 and Psalm 130

Faithful Fridays

Find Joe's weekly meditations here every Friday. You are invited to respond to weekly discussion questions on our Facebook page.

Celebrating Saturdays

While we are all struggling with the realities of social distance and isolation, let's take a moment to share those little bright spots of gratitude. It could be a smile from a grocery store clerk offering hand sanitizer, a toddler who went down for a nap without a fuss, a neighbour who offered a wave, or someone who made dinner... what are you grateful for this week?
