SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Scarboro United Church starts their Sunday worship as a whole family, with the first part of the 10:30am service dedicated to including everyone. The children and youth are welcome to remain in this sacred space for the remainder of the worship(with discovery options in the back of this space by the rocking chair), or they can join the following explorations in the designated areas:
NURSERY: For those 0-3 years old
The nursery opens at 10:15am every Sunday, with Kiki, our paid caregiver. Feel freeto bring the littlest of our flock to this space, when you are ready! Kiki is availableuntil 11:45am, so we ask that you pick-up your children promptly following theservice.
CHILDREN’S WORSHIP: For those 4-12 years old
This focused time is based on the multi-age worship experience, where a lectionary based curriculum with a variety of options to experience the Bible stories is used. Elisabeth welcomes the children to this space, creates these going deeper moments, and offers her leadership for this community on Sunday mornings.
YOUTH WORSHIP: For those in Grades 7-12
All youth are invited to meet with diana in the Chapel for some intentional reflection. This offering is designed as an exploration of spiritual practice, an opportunity to converse about liturgy, and a way to identify our faith moments amidst the realities of day-to-day life.
