Worship

Sunday Worship

Regular Sunday worship services are held at 10:30 a.m. During the months of July and August, worship services may be scheduled differently. Call the church office at 403-244-1161 for details.

Drop in early for coffee, and stay for a social time after the service.

Music On Sundays

Scarboro United has one of the best music programs in Calgary. Our services ring with harmony. The Scarboro Church Choir is directed by Music Director Liz Paynter.

Children and Youth

All family members are welcome on Sunday. Children are welcome to either stay with their parents or go to Sunday School in the lower hall after the welcome, prayers and first hymn. There is a child’s area at the back of the church where there are crafts and toys for children who stay with their parent during service.

Nursery

A nursery operates every Sunday during the worship service, with a paid caregiver and parent volunteers. For information or to volunteer, please see Erika Olsvik-Andrews at church or call Rev. Lee Spice (403-244-0120).

Sunday School

We are excited to offer a Workshop Rotation model of Sunday School called "Come Join the Circle." The children/youth will proceed with their own age group to a different station each week. Each of the stations will delve into the Bible story experientially - from crafts to games to music...there are even units that focus on food! This is followed by an all-ages storytelling time in the Social Room.

Youth Group

During church time, the Youth are invited meet with others of their age group to attend the stations of Come Join the Circle. There will be a Youth Group meeting most Sundays after church.
