Scarboro Welcomes New Ministers
The congregation of Scarboro United is delighted to welcome Rev. Lee Spice and Rev. Paul Rumbolt who will be sharing one full-time ministry position as of August 2010. Lee has a background in education and holds a Masters of Divinity degree. Since her ordination in 2004 she has worked in joint pastoral charges south of Calgary. She has a personal interest in music and brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to Scarboro.
Paul has worked within the church across Canada. He also holds a Masters of Divinity degree and has experience in youth ministry and as a music resource person at conferences across Canada. Paul has released a songbook and CD of original inspirational songs and has two songs in More Voices. Both Paul and Lee are committed to a team approach to ministry and will work closely with Paul Mullen, Scarboro’s full-time minister.
About Us
Scarboro United Church is a caring community of risk-takers, adventurers, and explorers in contemporary Christian living. Working from a traditional base, we seek new ways of understanding the meeting of the human and the divine. We are a liberal, open-minded congregation, welcoming doubters, seekers, questioners, believers, and those of other faith experiences.
